National Think Tank Celebrate Nigeria

On October 1st, 1960, our beloved country gained her freedom and stood tall as an independent nation. From that historic dawn of self-rule through years of promise, trials, military rule, civil war, democracy, reforms, and resilience, Nigeria has remained a symbol of unity, diversity, and hope.

Though our journey has not been without challenges—economic struggles, insecurity, and political turbulence—our strength lies in the unbroken spirit of our people. In science, arts, sports, innovation, and leadership, Nigerians continue to shine on the global stage.

Today, as we celebrate 65 years of nationhood, we honor our founding fathers, salute our heroes past and present, and look forward with courage and faith. Nigeria has every reason to celebrate, because each October 1st reminds us not only of our independence, but of the endless possibilities ahead.
